The best kind of award

In March, 2025, we received this Guardian Angel award from the men incarcerated at Rockwell City (North Central Correction Facility). For me, there is no greater recognition for our work. In the award letter, they wrote: "We have found the First Stop after Prison Reentry Support packet to bring comfort to so many gentlemen who are desperately seeking change in their lives." This is high praise from the people most directly involved with prison reentry and we are so glad to be able to help.

I want to thank the men at Rockwell City for their hard work on preparing and planning their reentry. And I want to thank all the organizations across Iowa who are committed to easing the transition from prison to the community.
