On Thursday, August 8, we facilitated two workshops at Mount Pleasant Correctional Facility. It was our one-year anniversary since beginning the workshops at Oakdale prison. 30 men participated and worked on their reentry planning. Our favorite comment from the evaluations was: "It was educational and it helped give me ideas on some things that I can change." Our team was Dale Helling, Doren Walker and Mike Cervantes. (We missed you Sue!)
One gentleman visited us during the afternoon workshop as he was on his way out of prison and heading to Remnant House in Council Bluffs. He thanked us for connecting him with the great people at that organization and we wish him the best of everything.
